The final leg of the pet event “A Petrifying Trail” by Pet Express took place yesterday at Skydome, SM City North EDSA. My cousin Julienne had her dog Sparky groomed at Pet Express last week and she was given a ticket to get freebies during the event. Skydome opened at 10 AM and we were there by 11 AM. There was no entrance fee and we just sort of hanged out with a cute bunch of dogs all day.
 

Zaiel, my soon-to-be 3-year old toddler, is a pet lover so I thought he would be having so much fun to see a lot of cats and dogs with their costumes on. I left our 4-month old kitten at home because he’s such a nervous freak and it would be too much for a pregnant mom like me to chase both my kid and the kitten all over the place.

A giant maze slash pet labyrinth was set up for pets. There were also trick or trick booths around the area giving away freebies and snacks for pets. Too bad I didn’t have a ticket.

Playing dress-up with dogs are so much fun! Pet Express showcased some of the cutest outfits and Halloween costumes for sale.

The cutest and the coolest! Chanel, the Yorkshire Terrier and the masked Siberian Husky.

Food and drinks were allowed inside so we filled our growling stomachs with Gong Cha Matcha Milk Tea and assorted mini donuts from Cello’s Doughnuts. I remember buying Cello’s for the first time when I was in college, at their Katipunan branch. Yesterday, I enjoyed ’em yummy donuts with my boy.

Afternoon came and we left the place shortly to take a stroll around the mall. Kids in costumes were trick or treating. Zaiel was delighted with the spooky atmosphere but there were instances that he stepped back, getting scared of people and children with ghoul masks and creepy outfits. He found the scenery and pumpkin props along the landscaped area of the Sky Garden cute and appealing, though.

We had our photographs taken at a photo booth when we came back in. We weren’t able to join the pet parade because we went home by 4 PM.

We’re definitely going to join next year’s event and we plan on preparing ahead Sparky and Thor’s costumes!
