Ellana Minerals Makeup Haul

Ellana Minerals Makeup

I’m one of Ellana Minerals‘ faithful customers and I’m happy to share my not-so-recent makeup haul. I ordered from them through their online store and I received the package in just a couple of days.

Ellana products are reasonably-priced and are made with mild ingredients. Their products contain Allantoin, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E for cell regeneration and added moisturizing effect. They are also fragrance-free, paraben-free, and oil-free.

Ellana Lip/Cheek Gel in Ruby (PhP 180). I love how it creates a natural, post-workout flush that lasts all day. It’s highly pigmented so use sparingly. The bad: It’s a bit drying on the lips and I’m having a hard time removing finger stains.

Ellana Eye Primer (PhP 150). Made with vegetable-derived oils, this eye primer make eyeshadows more intense and long-wearing. The downside is the consistency. Its solid, putty texture makes application difficult. I would go for creamy or liquid.

Ellana Liquid Primer (30 ml – PhP 400). Makes my makeup last longer and smoothens my skin for easier application. Matte and oil-free, it contains Allantoin & Vitamin E for cell regeneration and added moisturizing effect. I use it after my moisturizer or before applying foundation.

Ellana Powder Blush in Flirtation (1 gram – PhP 100). This bright strawberry pink shade with sheer matte finish is one of my favorites. It is easy to blend, highly pigmented (a little goes a long way) and instantly livens up my complexion with a healthy, rosy glow.

Ellana Loose Powder Foundation in Chai Tea Latte – Perfect Blend (6 grams – PhP 420). Light with a cool undertone, this powder foundation offers light to medium coverage (perfect for everyday use), effectively covering and reducing dark spots, acne, fine lines, wrinkles, and other imperfections. It’s easy to blend and glides on my skin like silk. It also illuminates my skin’s dull complexion and the coverage lasts all day. The light formula allows my skin to breathe and it doesn’t give me that “heavy feeling”. I use Chai Tea Latte for colder months and during summer, when the sun is at its hottest, I use a darker shade, Ellana Loose Powder Foundation in Hazelnut Latte.

The Perfect Blend formula is completely mattifying, designed for Normal to Combination Skin and can be used for all skin types. They also have other variants for dry and oily/acne prone skin.

Ellana Powder Concealer in Cheer (1 gram – PhP 100). Creamy bisque for lightening the dark circles around the eyes. The “Awake” shade also works well. I apply powder concealers before applying foundation so I can blend them together.

Ellana Transluscent Finishing Powder in Pumpkin Pie Latte (4 grams – PhP 300). Light peach with sheer finish. It minimizes small imperfections, provides more staying power for my makeup, and makes my skin glow. It melts evenly on my skin so I don’t have to worry about having to put on too much. I sometimes use it by itself and it works just fine.

Ellana Concealer Brush (PhP 200). Great for applying powder concealers and works well as an eyeshadow brush too.

Angled Blush Brush (PhP 400). This slightly angled brush is great for contouring.

Ellana Extra Large Buffer Brush (PhP 750). My best bud. I can set my foundation in seconds with this large brush.

Ellana Mineral Powders are excellent; I’d vouch for them. In fact I want to collect them all, especially the blushes and the multipurpose powders. You can order online through their website Their products are also available at The Ramp, Trinoma.
