Pizza Hut‘s always been one of my all-time favorite Italian restaurants. I grew up ordering Super Supreme Thick Crust Pizza for a movie night at home and heading to Pizza Hut’s SM North EDSA branch for a hearty dinner with my family. Although now there are a lot of emerging pizza and pasta chains around the metro, Pizza Hut will always have a special place in my heart, simply because it reminds me of home.

I was organizing my files earlier and found tons of photos that I haven’t blogged about yet. So this was from one of our unforgettable family lunch dates. My brother will surely laugh at my lack of photography skills (I’ve broken a few photography rules here), but the food looked appetizing enough on their own so I’m hoping to be forgiven. 🙂

Dining out inspired me to become my husband’s personal chef. Good food makes everyone happy, I guess, so I’ve been really enthusiastic in the kitchen. My mom and I cooked our first homemade pizza when I was younger and she has been one of my inspirations ever since. Due to recent priority changes and budget constraints, I’m more challenged to try exciting new recipes at home.

Super Supreme Sausage Pops Pizza (PhP 439)

My fave Super Supreme Pizza upgraded to Sausage Pops. We would have ordered the cheesy pops variant but we wanted more meat.

My little boy definitely enjoyed pulling out a few of ’em sausage-filled pops.

Tuna Melt Pasta (PhP 209)

I’m a lover of pasta dishes and a picky eater at the same time, so I prefer white sauce over red or tomato. Pizza Hut’s Tuna Melt Pasta is an ultimate comfort food. It tastes just like my own white sauce recipe, minus the cream of mushroom sauce. Creamy rotini pasta with tuna chunks, sprinkled with fresh parsley, and served with garlic bread – this one’s definitely a keeper.

Fettuccine a la King (PhP 139)

Another cream-based sauce on the menu. Fettuccine a la King is loaded with ham, chicken, and bell peppers cooked in a light cream sauce. A truly refreshing dish with red bell peppers adding a distinct fruity flavor. It is topped with chopped parsley and garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Mango Pana Cotta (PhP 79)

A happy way to end a lovely meal. My son is a fan of mangoes so he had this almost to himself.
