Herbatint Permanent Haircolor Gel Review in Light Ash Blonde

It was late last year when I started dyeing my hair blonde to prep for my dream hair color, Purple. After trying two purple shades this year (Ash Purple & Orchid Purple), my hair is back to its uneven blonde shade.

I’m not liking it one bit because my black grown-out roots are showing at an awkward length, and that my blonde hair is a big mess of platinum, yellow, gold, and eek, orange.

I don’t want to try another bold, crazy color just yet but I also don’t want to lose my blonde-ish ends, so I tried the Herbatint Permanent Haircolor Gel in Light Ash Blonde – 8C

It’s my first time using a blonde color shade so I’m very excited. 🙂

  3. Leave for 40 minutes. It is important to stick to the processing time.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water then apply the Herbatint Normalising Shampoo if you have one.
  5. After shampooing, you can complete the treatment by using the Royal Cream, Herbatint regenerating conditioner. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of warm water.

Herbatint Light Ash Blonde

Before: Mostly streaks of yellow and gold (indoor, bedroom lighting)

After (1 day post-dye): Ashy blonde shade! More grayish undertone (indoor, with sunlight) and darker blonde shade.

Hindi yan nasuklay, sorry because I’m used to wearing my hair up in a ponytail when I’m home.

Before: Uneven blonde shade, with purplish shade underneath (indoor lighting)

After (1 week post-dye): No more purple streaks left (indoors, with sunlight)

I’m loving that my hair is indeed Ash Blonde, parang milk tea color! Parang may highlights effect din.

The golden hues are more subdued and the color has evened out. It’s also a darker shade of blonde that suits my skin tone.  🙂
