In time for the holiday season, SM City Grand Central, in collaboration with PESO Caloocan and DOLE Camanava, recently hosted a job fair, providing an avenue for jobseekers to secure employment by means of connecting them with employers eager to solidify their company’s workforce ahead of the Christmas rush.

Held at the 5th level of the mall, the event generated a total of 3,217 job openings across various sectors. The job fair, which was attended by 40 companies, highlighted employers from retail, BPO, manufacturing, construction, and hospitality.

Preliminary reports show that 101 job seekers were hired on the spot, with many more expected to receive offers in the coming days.

SM City Grand Central’s job fair is one of several initiatives aimed at supporting the local economy, helping individuals find work while giving businesses the workforce they need to thrive during the festive season. As companies brace for the busiest time of the year, the event underscored the mall’s role in driving both employment and economic resilience within the community.
