Cuts 4 Tots Hair Salon for Kids
We’ve considered Cuts 4 Tots Hair Salon at SM North EDSA, The Block for my son’s second haircut. I once said to myself when I was still single that I want my future son/daughter to get his/her haircuts in there.
The salon was especially designed for children. There’s a waiting area for kids to play just in case there’s a long line of customers. They also get to choose which toy car to sit/ride on. To help the kids relax, they can watch their favorite cartoons and TV shows and play with bubbles and toys while the haircut is ongoing.
Zaiel has two cowlicks (hair whorls) on his crown and they sit close to each other. The two go in opposite directions, meeting in the middle and making his hair point upwards. It’s his normal hairstyle and we call it “Baby James” (of Ms. Kris Aquino).
For his 3rd haircut, we brought him to the nearest barber shop but he wasn’t accepted “kasi malikot daw“. After that, we went to a salon for a neat shave, but we were asked to pay double because he wasn’t cooperative. I definitely don’t want to go through with those again. At least in Cuts 4 Tots, he gets pampered and get treated like royalty. Plus, the amenities are great. Not bad at all for Php 300 (Kiddie Haircut). The staff even gave him a toy to take home!
Haircut ala Baby James 🙂
Zaiel’s first haircut/shave was done by my Uncle Ely, a retired US Navy official, on his first birthday. He gave me my son’s lock of hair as a keepsake. Following our tradition, the ones to perform the haircut must be an intelligent elder.
If you’re not into traditions and you still want to make your son/daughter’s first haircut memorable, avail Cuts 4 Tots 1st Haircut Package. It includes a cute certificate, baby’s lock of hair, and before and after haircut photos. Aside from this, their other services include adult haircut (ages 11 and up), bang trim, shampoo and blow dry, and hot oil treatment.
