Last month, I finally let one of my life-long dreams come true — dye my hair purple. 🙂 I’m obsessed with the color purple since forever, so I included it in my Life List. Nakaka-proud kasi the process wasn’t all that pretty and easy, and I have a super sensitive scalp pa.
So after two sessions of bleaching and one hair color application last year, plus dyeing my hair purple last month (Ash Purple DIY hair dye by Technicolor MNL), my crowning glory looked like this — severely dry and frizzy (all thanks to bleaching!). Hindi ako makalabas ng bahay ng walang hair oil or hair cream to tame my tresses.
The color was faded na rin, so medyo witch vibes na hitsura ko TBH, hahaha. But I still want to keep the color. I’ll be dyeing my hair again soon.
So last week I booked a hair appointment with T&J Salon Professionals, Sun Mall branch. I had my digital perm by Tony & Jackey Salon a few years ago (actually, I miss having curly hair) so I really trust them for my hair needs.
I availed of their Rescue 911 Hair Therapy. After the assessment, they washed my hair for preparation. The first treatment is spray-type.. they massaged the product onto my hair and they let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it again. The second treatment is cream-type, then similar process.. so the whole hair therapy was finished in less than an hour.
They offer free coffee and/or tea. My kids’ suking hair salon also offers free iced tea and coffee. 🙂

After the treatment, my hair was blow-dried. I could already see and feel the difference.
The Rescue 911 Hair Therapy won’t make your hair super straight because it’s different from hair rebonding. And I also told them that I don’t want my hair to look flat.
So according to T&J, what the Rescue 911 Hair Therapy does is “deep reconstruction, instant relief for hair that is extremely damaged, dry, brittle, over-processed, perm or color.”
I’m happy that my hair feels softer and doesn’t look as stiff anymore. Pwede na ulit mag-hair flip! 🙂
I also had my hair styled, and surprisingly, my faded ash purple hair didn’t look that bad.. mas bagay pala talaga sa curly hair yung ganito!

Lovely hair color! I’m on the safe side when I’m having my hair dyed at the salon. That’s because my purpose is just really to cover gray hair that keeps reappearing every month. Sigh!
love the color of your hair. been wanting to try such kind of color but i dont have the guts to totally experience that. we have tried t&j in sm north edsa and i love how they touch your hair and handle it with real care.
