Dutch Mill Delight

Dutch Mill yoghurt drink is one of my kids’ favorite so I am excited to share with you a fairly new product from Dutch Mill that will help keep your tummies healthy — Dutch Mill Delight. 🙂

Duo Active: Probiotic Plus Prebiotic Fiber

Dutch Mill Delight is a non-fat (yet made from real milk) probiotic drink which helps in better digestion. It’s packed with “good bacteria” called Lactobacillus Paracasei that help balance out the bad stuff in your tummy.

How is it considered a better choice? Well, it has the special DUO ACTIVE combo of probiotics and prebiotic fiber, making good bacteria live longer in your digestive tract.

Prebiotic fiber helps probiotic microorganisms to grow and be healthy inside! 🙂

What is prebiotic fiber? Prebiotic fiber is a plant that helps nourish good bacteria inside the tummy. When probiotic and prebiotic are combined, it produces longer living good bacteria which helps nourish your tummy better and absorb nutrients faster. In other words, when probiotics eat the prebiotic fiber, they multiply and become stronger.

How to Keep Dutch Mill Delight #DelightfullyGood

To ensure that what you’re getting is 100% delightfully good, you need to keep it refrigerated, don’t consume if the bottle is damaged or if it’s past its expiration date, use the straw inside the pack, and drink it in one go. 🙂

How to Make #DelightFullyGood Bento Boxes

I often make bento boxes for my kids. I started making bento boxes when my eldest couldn’t finish his meals and would always tell me that he doesn’t want to eat. I think that I’ve made the right choice because he changed from being a picky-eater to a schoolboy who’s always looking forward to mealtime.

A lot of mommies tell me that they want to try making bento meals but they’re afraid to do so because they think that it’s too hard to do or they don’t have time for it or they’re not creative enough. Well, a task is usually difficult in the beginning, but once you’ve put your energy into it, the whole experience becomes effortless and satisfying.

If you’re interested in making kawaii bento meals, I suggest that you start investing in the basic bento tools — lunchboxes, cookie cutters and/or molds, and food picks. 🙂

For my Delightfully Good Bento Meal #1, I included cooked white rice, ginisang sayote with ground beef, ponkan segments, iced gems, and cheese slices cut into stars using a decorative ham and cheese cutter.

Sectioned food trays are great for portion control and they also make things easier for you because you won’t be needing those baran food dividers.

With Dutch Mill Delight, I can ensure that my children get the prebiotic fiber intake as part of their meals everyday.

Make your kid’s bento meals even healthier with Dutch Mill Delight!

My Delightfully Good Bento Meal #2 is a quick, easy, and healthy breakfast that’ll keep your kids satisfied until lunch time. I cooked scrambled eggs with tomato, garlic, and onion, mixed the rice with blue-colored ketchup and used an airplane mold, added the window details to the rice using nori sheets, created a ham floret using a decorative ham cutter, and added thin slices of carrots. Complete your kid’s meal with a bottle of Dutch Mill Delight. 🙂

Can you count how many airplanes are in this bento? 🙂

Delightfully Good Bento Meal #3 is a character bento. Meet Delight, Dutch Mill’s probiotic character.

To make it, I flattened two pieces of classic white loaf and cut/shaped them to look like Delight’s probiotic character, then spread strawberry jam on top. The white details are flattened white bread and fried egg whites then the rest are nori sheets. You need to have a steady hand when cutting and carving small parts and details.

I filled the rest of the lunch box with butter sticks biscuits. Funny how they also resemble the rod-shaped lactobacilli. 🙂

Drink to your Delight!

The recommended amount of probiotics per day is around 100-1000 million; it won’t cause your body harm so drink to the merry. It’s also best to consume Dutch Mill Delight at home because when chilled, the Pro and Prebiotic are alive and well. 🙂

According to my eldest, he enjoys its incredibly rich and soothing milk taste.

Well, my youngest couldn’t agree more. When I tried pulling the bottle out of his hand, he gave me a fierce “This is Mine!” look.

You can buy Dutch Mill Delight from major supermarkets in the Philippines. It can also be bought through their “Delight ladies” in Rizal, Manila, Taguig, and Quezon City area.
