Last May 13, Mother’s Day, our family had a splash-tastic time during the Cartoon Network Summer Splash at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
It’s a summer event for the whole family, as we were brought to a tropical island-inspired place in the city. The Cartoon Network Summer Splash event began at 10 AM and ended at 6 PM, and kids enjoyed a full day of fun, laughter, and challenges with their family. Fans were also ecstatic to meet their favorite stars from Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time, We Bare Bears and OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.

My kids were happy to take part in the activities. They rode the Adventure Time banana boat rider, conquered obstacles in the OK K.O.! Coast Course, dove into a sea of balloons inside a gigantic dome to find the balloons with stickers, flew like The Powerpuff Girls at the Summersonic Flight, and fished for prizes at the We Bare Bears Fish o Prize!
Since it was also Mother’s Day, Cartoon Network also prepared a special treat for all the moms present in the area. Mommies got to have a free massage and a free manicure at the Moms GlamCamp! Such a well-deserved pamper and glam-up time!
The event was made more awesome by games and raffle prizes, featuring limited-edition Cartoon Network merchandise and other novelty items. There was also an All-Star Dance Performance to wrap things up at the end of the program.
Z was able to join in one of the games. Their team didn’t win but he was beaming with joy when he received his consolation prize.
A Cartoon Network event wouldn’t be complete without a ton of freebies. My kids were able to take home loads of goodies from sponsors at each of the booths they visited, including sweets, toys, and even sunnies. Thank you Grupo Agatep for inviting us! 🙂
