My first in DIY waxing: Strip It! Hair Removal Cold Wax.
Strip It! Facts:
- Uses sugar wax which is all-natural, water-soluble (easy to wash out), and hypoallergenic (safe for sensitive skin)
- Safe to use on any part of the body: face , legs, underarms, bikini line or even Brazilian waxing!
- Less chicken skin
- Laced with moisturizer (softens skin) and calamansi (promotes skin lightening)
- Exfoliates/strips off dead skin cells and dirt
- Adheres tightly to the hair but not the skin (less 50% pain & discomfort)
- 100% Filipino made
- Shelf life is one (1) year
Strip It trial mini kit (100 grams) for only Php 130! A tub can last up to 3 months, depending on use.

My verdict:
- DIY waxing was fun! At first, I had a hard time spreading out the wax but I got used to it after a few trials.
- I waxed by sections; you’ll be needing your own strategy/technique. I had my lower leg divided into 8 waxing sections so I wouldn’t have to repeat on waxed areas.
- LESS PAIN and less irritation.
- The cold wax smells sweet! Almost good enough to eat, but I wouldn’t suggest it. The consistency is just right, not watery but not as hard as candy.
- My skin felt smoother and moisturized right after the waxing session.
- I saved time and money!
