Whenever I discover a new hobby I really get obsessed with it. And just like when I was hoarding bento stuff a few years ago, this new hamster keeping obsession of mine is currently out of control, LOL.

I have access to only a few pet shops sa SM North (Pet Express, Furry Tails, Pet World) and they don’t carry a wide variety of hamster supplies so I tried buying them online. Before I discovered Shopee, I stumbled upon ilovemypets.ph. They have hamster supplies and accessories so I tried shopping for our hammie, Junkrat.

Carno Hamster Food (400g) for PhP 100

It is recommended that your hamster has at least 2 different food mixes so that it gets a variety of nutrients. 

The packaging was properly sealed but once I opened it, medyo mahirap na siya isara so I transferred it in a jar. I got goosebumps lang because I hate worms and there are dried mealworms na kasama sa food mix.

Carno Potty Litter Scooper for PhP 12

I added this potty litter scooper to use a food mix scooper. Junkrat won’t need it for potty because he pees in the sandbath but poops outside — sa bedding or kusot.

Marsa Natural Loofah (Fruit-flavored) 6pcs for PhP 80

These are natural chews for hamsters, para ma-trim yung teeth. Medyo na-off lang ako ’cause they’re dyed. Sabi they’re safe so maniniwala na lang ako, LOL. Good thing these loofah served as decorations lang ’cause my hamster doesn’t want to nibble them.

This hamster gym is a bit expensive, but it’s worth it. It’s one of my favorite pieces from Junkrat’s stash. Ang cute pati ng colors.

Jolly Hamster Bathing Sand Lemon (500g) for PhP 75

Of course, bathing sand for potty! This is cheaper compared sa petshops sa malls.

SmartHeart Treat for Hamster (100g) for PhP 60

One of my best buys. It’s Junkrat’s favorite now. They look like a fruit mix or breakfast cereals, and they smell good! I used this for taming him. I give 1 or 2 pieces of SmartHeart treat per day.

All the stuff above for a total of PhP 547, plus Shipping Fee of PhP 80.. so the grand total is PhP 627. Not bad, LOL. I’m sure this isn’t going to be my last hammie shopping so RIP to my wallet. 🙂
