Oriental Tuna Sashimi (Php 175.00) of Gerry’s Grill is one perfect sashimi dish variety. My brother graduated High School yesterday and we dived in at Gerry’s Grill SM North EDSA to celebrate. Aside from the usual favorites like Pork Sisig and Crispy Pata, I ordered sashimi as our appetizer, prepared in Filipino “pulutan” style.
I’m one of those daring people who eats raw fish. My mum and my other cousins do not dare try. Tuna sashimi with Kikkoman sauce and Wasabi is a classic, my ultimate fave and comfort food. Here, chopped leeks and chili made this dish more appetizing and more exciting to eat. I’m looking forward to my next sashimi dish!
FYI, “sashimi” means “pierced body”.
