My husband surprised me with this cutesy Fujifilm Hello Kitty Instax Mini 25 for our 5th Anniversary last month. I first saw an Instax Mini on Pinterest and I instantly fell in love with it. I’m not particularly a fan of Hello Kitty, but isn’t this camera cute? LOL.

He purchased the instax bundle for PhP 7,000 at Digital Walker. The set includes a Hello Kitty Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 camera, Fujifilm Instax Mini Twin Pack Instant Film, a closeup lens, and batteries . This is officially my third camera; the first one was a Nikon Coolpix digicam from my father in 2001, and the next is a Canon Digital IXUS 100 IS from my husband several years ago. This time I’ve got a vintage-y instant camera and it’s all about retro-inspired fun.

According to Saffawati.Shop, the Instax Mini 25 is in the middle when it comes to features, print quality, and affordability. It’s better than 7s and 8 but not as good as 50s or 90. I only dreamed of having the mini 8 so getting the mini 25 is more than enough for me. I sampled a few shots right after receiving it and just last week I brought it with me during our nature trip at Taytay Falls, Majayjay Laguna. All the photos came out nicely, except for one that came out blank. I have no idea what happened with that single shot, and I’m still researching online if other users experience the same glitch.

So far, I’m happy with my Fujifilm Instax Mini 25, Hello Kitty Edition. I’m currently browsing some accessories for my instax mini-bags, cases, skins, lenses, and film designs. Instax films with designs are normally more expensive so I think I have to design the plain ones myself using markers, stickers, and washi tapes.
