So after my orange hair faded (I used MerrySun Cellowax in Fiery Orange), this time I tried the Merry Sun Cellowax Rose Gold semi-permanent dye. I’ve been dyeing my hair bold colors for almost 2 years now and I’m telling you, nakaka-addict magpalit-palit ng kulay.

So this is how my rose gold hair looked like. I only used 1 sachet, though feeling ko I needed 2 sachets to get a brighter and bolder rose gold shade, and also because there were parts na parang kulang sa dye.

Anyway, medyo achieved naman yung pastel effect and it really looked like a mix of pink and gold hues. Sorry kakagising ko lang jan so I covered my face, LOL.

Here’s the peg color, if you still have no idea what rose gold is. It’s basically pinkish gold.

So here’s my base 🙂 My hair was originally Light Ash Blonde, then I tried a few colors. What I do is I apply semi perma dye then I’ll let it fade, before trying a new semi perma dye. I try to really get my hair back to its original shade, the light ash blonde, before I dye it again so I don’t end up with a different shade or with mixed hues, if you know what I mean.

My base isn’t a level 10 blonde — around 8-9 siguro — pero na-achieve naman ang Rose Gold.

Some parts appeared more orangey and golden, and some looked more like peachy or salmon pink.

It had very minimal bleeding, on a scale of 1-10 it’s a 1. It took 2 weeks before it faded, only using shampoo every other day to make the color last longer.
