Our boring Saturday turned out to be extra, extra special the moment we entered The Picture Company at SM North EDSA Annex branch. The studio is a kid’s dream place – walls are painted with happy colors, stuffed toys are available to be played with on the sofas, and cute photographs of babies and kids are in full display.
They were having a FREE photo session promo that time. I’m a sucker for discounts so I asked one of their staff, Ms. Toni Estevez, to give me details about the promo.
Photo sessions are for free, meaning no session fees for me. Session fees cost Php 750 – Php 3000, depending on the number of people in the shoot. TPC’s membership fee is also on a 30% discount – from Php 2,500 down to Php 1,750. I only have to pay for the prints which cost Php 890 per sheet.
There is a wide variety of costumes and props waiting to be used for photo shoots.
Ms. Toni was my baby’s photographer for the shoot. She was collaborative and easy to work with. I personally wanted a few shots with the headphones and for his second set, she suggested the different-colored towels.
My baby wasn’t in a good or bad mood so we had a really hard time trying to make him smile. I sang “Twinkle, Twinkle” to keep him steady and Toni tried to make him laugh with peek-a-boos. Both worked, and it was fun. And I felt a great surge of pride while he gets his first ever photo shoot.
I became a fan of their page on Facebook last year and I wanted them to take my photograph while I was pregnant. Unfortunately, they do not have a branch near my place and I was hesitating if a one time maternity photo shoot is worth my money. Now I know that with TPC, all is worth it!

Hi Kathleen! Yes, may fee yung photo session. I think it’s around 800. Tapos kapag may additional na tao, additional fee pa.
