The dance floor at SM Center Sangandaan came alive as campus crews brought their best moves, energy, and choreography to the first elimination round of Campus Takeover: Dance Groove Competition last September 12.

Six schools and 60 student participants took part in the high-energy showdown, drawing an estimated crowd of more than 600 supporters who gathered to cheer for their favorite teams and witness the campus dance battle.

The participating crews delivered synchronized routines, creative choreography, and crowd-pleasing performances, proving that campus spirit can be expressed through rhythm, teamwork, and confidence.

But the competition is far from over.

Students and dance crews who want to join the competition can still register and take their shot at the next elimination round. The second elimination round happens on September 19, Saturday, at 2 p.m. on Level 3 of SM Center Sangandaan, giving aspiring campus dancers another chance to bring their A-game to the floor.

The competition will culminate in the Grand Finals on September 26, Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Level 3 of the mall, where the top-performing crews will face off for the championship.
